Our privacy promise

Vireo Video Player is an offline video player. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data or usage data.

The app does not request Internet access and includes no advertising, analytics, tracking, account, or crash-reporting service. No filename, media content, viewing history, device identifier, or diagnostic information is sent to us or any third party.

02

Local media access

Vireo requests read-only access to videos stored on your Android device so you can browse and play them. You may also choose individual videos or subtitle files through the Android system document picker.

The app does not delete, rename, move, upload, or share your files.

03

Stored on your device

Playback positions, your last opened media URI, subtitle selection, subtitle timing, and player preferences are stored locally in the app's private storage. This information is not transmitted.

Android removes app-private information when you clear the app's data or uninstall Vireo Video Player.

04

Children's privacy

The app is not designed specifically for children. Because it collects no personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

05

Policy changes

If a future version changes these practices, this policy and the Google Play Data Safety declaration will be updated before that version is released.
